Paul Rowley Memorial Service

Please join us for a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Paul Rowley. The Service will be held at St Lawrence Church, Lechlade, Gloucestershire, GL7 3AH

The Service will start at 2.30pm on Monday 20th October. Seating will be limited but guests are invited to stand anywhere within the Church.

After the Service light refreshments will be served in the Whimbrel Marquee at The Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel, Lake 6, Spine Road East, South Cerney, Gloucestershire, GL7 5FP

In preference to flowers the Family would welcome donations on the day to Dementia UK , or in advance via GL Evans Funeral Services at 28 Newburgh Place, Highworth, Wiltshire, SN6 7DN

It would assist us enormously if you would kindly email by return at as to whether you are able to attend The Service and afterwards at The Four Pillars.

Creating News Articles

HI Everyone,

Following on from Tim's email, this page describes the step to create a new News article for the site, these article will appear (depending on your permisions) on the fron page and the News page.

Step 1 Click the "Submit a new Article" in the Admin Menu (you need be logged in to see this menu)

Step 2 Add Titile,  Use a interesting headline for this. (this is what apears above the date and creator)

Step 3 Type the report, if the article is quite long  I think it works well to have a "snappy" intro paragraph and then use the "Read More Function" this splits the article and adds  a "read more button" the icon is highlighted below, it is also available in the row of buttons below the editor window. also adding images can help the look of a page

Step 4  Select the Section "News"

Step 5 Select the Category  "Latest"

Step 6 make sure the "published" button is "Yes"

Step 7  Select yes on "show on front page"

Step 8 SAVE the article.  If you have publisher right the article will appear immediatley, any rights less than this will require someone with publisher rights to "review" and publish the articles .

we will be reviewing the Home page content and removing article that are not relevant or out of date, they will still be visible On the New page or archive.

Hope this helps.....
