Disciplinary

CRFC Disciplinary Policy is an outline to coaches/senior captains of the strict procedures that they must follow in the case of disciplined/sent-off/cited players. This applies both when the referee is Society-appointed or a club referee .

SENIOR : The Captain must report ASAP full details of the incident to the Disciplinary Committee (A minimum of 3 from the Club's President, Chairman, Club Captain and Chairman of Rugby). They will then convene and decide the severity/length of internal ban from Club based on RFU guidelines. This will be told passed on to the relevant player, Selection Committee and the GRFU Disciplinary Sec. . This MUST happen ASAP after the incident/decision. Further disciplinary action or not will be decided independently by the County Disciplinary Committee.

YOUTH : The age-group Coach must report ASAP full details to the Disciplinary Committee (A minimum of 3 from the Club's Chairman, Youth Chairman, Child Protection Officer and Chairman of Rugby) . They will then convene and decide the severity/length of internal ban from Club based on RFU Schools and Youth guidelines. This will be told to the relevant player, his parents, his school, his age-group coach and the GRFU Disciplinary Sec. . This must happen ASAP after the incident/decision. Further disciplinary action or not will be decided independently by the County Disciplinary Committee

ALL coaches/senior captains must strictly enforce good discipline amongst their players + the behaviour of watching spectators/parents. CRFC are bound by RFU Codes of Conduct and bound by the Club's strict adherence to the Code of Conduct towards Referees.

IF the Club's disciplinary record is deemed below standard the GRFU can suspend CRFC from playing matches across the board resulting in deduction of League points + close the whole Club down for a period of time + the Referees Society can refuse to provide referees across the board resulting in deduction of League points.

The high standards of discipline must apply from Under 7's all the way through to the Vets XV. This Policy applies to ALL players and parents and CRFC INSIST that it is rigidly enforced.
