The second-half saw some harum-scarum action from both sides - Langley somehow found it easier not to score than simply dot the bouncing ball down
- and Tring scored another unconverted try before the Galloping Major, Rich Williams, trundled over from 3 metres out to open the home sides account.
Miraculously Tony Howell converted to bring the scores close with time running out but the visitors had other ideas and fortuitously scored from a rolling maul.

Overall a very enjoyable game for players and spectators alike and excellent to see some Cirencester players of yesteryear still able to rise to the challenge. The afternoon merged into early evening and Old School touring showed it's true colours in a busy clubhouse. There are still some Vets matches due : Sat 2 May @ Home v Cowbridge RFC Vets, Fri 8 May @ Home v
Cirencester RFC and Sun 30th August @ Home v RLC Vets.
